Summer Suppers Made Simple: My Favorite Heat-Free Dinner π
Let’s be real — the last thing I want to do in July is turn on the oven and turn my kitchen into a sauna. π₯΅
So when the summer heat rolls in, I roll out my go-to heat-free dinner: the Summer Snack Board Supper. It’s cool, colorful, and kid-friendly... and it somehow feels a little fancy without actually cooking. π
π§Ί What’s on My Summer Snack Board
I keep it simple but satisfying with a mix of fresh, crunchy, creamy, and protein-packed picks:
- Turkey or chicken roll-ups
- Hummus + sliced veggies (hello, cucumber, bell peppers, snap peas!)
- Cheese cubes or mini mozzarella balls
- Crackers + baguette slices (toasted earlier in the air fryer!)
- Fresh berries, grapes, or peach slices
- Optional: a little square of dark chocolate or yogurt dip for dessert
Pro Tip: I use my Pampered Chef Cool & Serve Tray to keep everything chilled and looking cute. It’s the unsung hero of my summer kitchen!
π½️ Serve It Up, Store It Smart
If I’m prepping ahead (or we have leftovers), I store everything in my Tupperware Modular Mates and Vent ’N Serve containers — they keep snacks crisp, and I can pop open a tray the next day for a repeat performance.
This kind of dinner is a win all around: low effort, low heat, and high satisfaction.
π· Bonus: Pair It With a Chill Sip
For me, this board is best served with a glass of Boisset’s JCB No. 69 Brut RosΓ©. It’s crisp, pink, and perfect for a mom moment on the patio (even if it's 15 minutes before bedtime duty).
Try it this week and tag me if you build your own Summer Snack Board! I love seeing how you make it your own. π
