Friday Feels: My Favorite Kitchen Shortcuts to Slide Into the Weekend
It’s Friday. My energy? Low. My dinner motivation? Nonexistent. But my people still expect to eat — wild, right? π
That’s why Fridays in my house are all about kitchen shortcuts that feel like little miracles. I’m talkin’ less mess, less time, and more “YES I DID THAT” energy to close out the week strong.
π³ 1. One-Pan Wonders
If you haven’t made a frittata in your Pampered Chef nonstick skillet yet… what are you even doing? I toss in whatever veggies are about to go bad, some eggs, shredded cheese, and call it fancy. 20 minutes, zero judgment.
Bonus: it reheats well for breakfast tomorrow. π
π₯ 2. The “Snack Plate Dinner” (Mom Hack Alert!)
This is basically a charcuterie board, but way more real-life. I grab:
- Deli meat or rotisserie chicken
- Crackers or sliced baguette
- Veggies, fruit, hummus, and a block of cheese I forgot we had
Arrange it all on my Pampered Chef Large Entertaining Platter and serve with some Boisset Collection rosΓ© for me and juice boxes for the little. Fancy-ish. Fun. Zero stove required.
π₯‘ 3. Leftovers, But Make It Cute
I grab yesterday’s meal, reheat it in my Tupperware Vent ’N Serve, toss a little fresh parsley on top, and pretend it’s gourmet. If it’s in a cute dish and I didn’t have to cook again? We win.
This is how I actually keep us out of drive-thrus on Fridays.
✨ The Real Win?
It’s not the food — it’s the freedom. These little kitchen hacks give me back time to play, unwind, or just not hear “what’s for dinner?” on repeat while I spiral into TikTok recipes I’m never making. π
So here’s your permission slip to keep it simple tonight. Fancy optional. Flavor required.
